While the answer may seem straightforward, often this is not the case. And that's where SpectraWorx steps in, by helping its clients ensure their brand identify is clearly defined - in symbolic and textual forms.

Whether our clients require the creation of a new brand or clarifying an existing one, we begin the design process by considering the industry in which the company is marketing. We learn what distinguishes our client's organization from others in their industry/ market, identifying key strategic attributes or "selling points". When we understand this, we pick up a sketch-pad and pen and start recording some ideas, resulting in the creation of a final artwork (logo) that is simple, attractive and easily recognizable.

We prepare the logo for use in all primary media: print through Web. Issues such as resolution, color and size permeate this process. This job is not for the novice.

Occasionally, our clients hire us to create an "Identity Standards Manual" - to serve as a guideline for anyone using the logo, to ensure that it stays true to form, regardless of which media it may reside in. We are also occasionally hired to help manage our clients' brands, taking the responsibility that the standards are complied to throughout the company as well as outside agencies. Without an individual or department responsible for this key task, the brand will undoubtedly become altered into something never intended for, resulting in there being "no brand identity" and a once noble purpose defeated, sometimes irreparably.
